This tournament
will be either pool
play or double

number of teams
registered. Games will consist
of 9 innings or 50
minutes.

A run rule shall be
used to complete a
regulation game when
one team's margin of
lead is greater than
or equal to the
listed run
differential in the
table below.

Equipment
Teams are responsible for providing their
own warm up balls. Game
balls will be provided by the Iowa Games.

A
team should consist
of equal amounts of
5 men and 5 women;
however, the team
may begin with 8 or
9 players.
Please see following
restrictions:
A
team can start with
9 players (5 women &
4 men or 4 women & 5
men). The team will
receive one out each
time that the 10th
player comes up to
bat. If the 10th
player arrives, then
the player will
occupy the 10th
position in the
batting order. (It
is not legal to walk
a player to get to
the automatic out;
the automatic out
will then be
nullified if this
occurs).
A
team may start the
game with 8 players
(4 women, 4 men
only). There will be
no outs given
becauseof the severe
disadvantage that
they already
possess.
A player may play on only one team.
Roster minimum is 10
players, maximum is
15 players. New players and/or replacement
players must complete an Individual
Entry Form and the waiver must be signed by a parent or
legal guardian (for athletes under the age of 18). For replacement
players, please indicate which player they are replacing.
Roster limits will be enforced.
Coaches who register

allowed to make roster changes

Age Determining
Date, Adult
Players must be 16 by July 24, 2010.
Uniforms
Uniform rule will not be enforced. Similar
colored shirts with numbers are encouraged.
Umpires
Each team
must provide two umpires who will be available
to umpire on game day. Umpires need to have
basic knowledge of
softball/baseball
and the Iowa Games
kickball rules.
Umpire schedules
will be provided
with the game
schedule.
