Regional Competition Information

QUALIFYING ROUNDS - SINGLES
The initial round of singles is held in January - March at bowling centers across the state. Bowling roll-offs continue throughout the summer with the finalists advancing to the State Finals in Ames.  Annually, more than 2,000 individuals compete in the initial rounds, with more than 700 individuals advancing to the Finals.

QUALIFYING ROUNDS - DOUBLES
Like the singles competition, the initial qualifying rounds for the doubles competition is held in January - March at bowling centers across the state.  Bowling roll-offs continue throughout the summer with the finalists advancing to the State Finals in Ames.

Competition Information

Format

Athletes will bowl 3 games using 100% handicap from 220 or no handicap if bowling in the scratch division. The average used will be the average used when qualifying. Doubles competition may consist of 2 male, 2 female or 2 person coed.

Age Determining Date

January 1, 2010

Rules

Current USBC and USBC Youth rules will apply.
