Competition format

Qualifying Rounds
The initial round of singles and doubles is held in January - March at bowling centers across the state. Bowling roll-offs continue throughout the summer with the finalists advancing to the State Finals in Ames

State Finals: must qualify to qualify for the State Finals in Ames

Athletes will bowl 3 games using 100% handicap from 220 or no handicap if bowling in the scratch division. The average used will be the average used when qualifying.

Current USBC and USBC Youth rules will apply.

Age Determining Date

January 1, 2012

Doubles competition may consist of 2 male, 2 female or 2 person coed

AWARDS

First, second and third place medals for each division will be given at the District Level and State Finals
